The Thursday Nighters is a Central Texas weeknight Tournament Series held every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 10:00 pm from the first Thursday after Daylight Savings Time til the last Thursday in August.  We alternate venues on a weekly basis between Lake Dunlap located in New Braunfels, Texas just outside of San Antionio and Canyon Lake which is located about 20 miles outside of New Braunfels.

These events were organized not just for the purpose of fishing a tournament, but as a venue for like-minded individuals with  similar interests to gather once a week to share knowledge, build friendships, but mainly to enjoy themselves as many anglers will hang around long after weigh in.  Of course there is also over $3500 in guaranteed money at our end of the year championship as well as an Angler of the Year title to fish for.  

The Thursday Nighters attract some of the best anglers in central Texas and winning one should be considered an accomplishment.

 

THE THURSDAY NIGHTERS PAY BACK 100% OF ALL MONEY COLLECTED,  IN ADDITION, GREAT PRIZES ARE GIVEN AWAY EACH WEEK FROM THE HELP OF SOME VERY GENEROUS SPONSORS.  PARTICIPATION IS OPEN TO ALL ANGLERS WITH A VALID TEXAS FISHING LICENSE
